Johnson stressed that some citizens have so far been unable to get to the Kabul airport for evacuation from Afghanistan.

He promised to do everything possible to take as many people out of the country as possible after August 31st.

Slovak Foreign Minister Ivan Korchok earlier said that a patrol of the radical Taliban movement prevented the evacuation of 20 Afghans, who were supposed to fly from Kabul to Tbilisi, and then to Slovakia on a special flight.

Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid said at a press conference in Kabul that they would ban the continuation of the operation to evacuate the country after August 31.
