▲ Afghan refugees injured in a series of terrorist attacks near Kabul Airport

CBS reported that more than 170 people were killed in a series of bomb attacks near the Afghan capital Kabul Airport on the 26th (local time).

CBS reported yesterday that at least 170 people have been killed, most of them Afghans, citing Afghan health officials.

Although the exact number of casualties has not yet been counted, it is much higher than the 100 or so reported so far through media reports.

U.S. casualties in the attack are 13, including 10 marines, and at least 18 wounded.

Western countries, including the United States, are urgently carrying out an operation to evacuate their own citizens and local helpers through Kabul Airport after the Taliban, an Islamic militant group, overthrew the pro-US government and took control of Afghanistan on the 15th.

Meanwhile, the day before yesterday at Kabul Airport, a suicide bombing and shooting by the Islamic State Khorasan and IS-K, hostile to both the US and the Taliban, resulted in numerous casualties.
