As the number of people infected with the new coronavirus and receiving medical treatment at home is increasing, the Constitutional Democratic Party is calling for stronger measures such as the government taking the initiative in expanding temporary medical facilities.

The Constitutional Democratic Party is calling on the government to strengthen its response, saying that the medical care provision system is not sufficient, as more and more people are unable to be hospitalized and receive medical treatment at home even if they are infected with the new coronavirus. ..

Specifically, the Prime Minister's Office should have a "bed securing headquarters" to establish a system that can accept patients across prefectural borders and accommodate medical staff.

We are also urgently requesting the expansion of temporary medical facilities and accommodation treatment facilities by utilizing state-owned land.

In addition, as it is necessary to strengthen the system for observing the progress so that it can respond to changes in the condition of home care recipients, we are also requesting an increase in medical fees for doctors who visit homes.

The Constitutional Democratic Party is urgently discussing such measures, and plans to strengthen its efforts to the government and the ruling party to convene an extraordinary Diet session on the 7th of next month before the LDP presidential election.
