It was at the beginning of July this year that staff at a nursing home in Laholm municipality are said to have given the user 10 milliliters of the drug Oxycodone instead of 0.5 milliliters.
The patient was taken by ambulance to hospital for treatment but was then taken back to the nursing home.
The next day, the patient died.
Whether the overdose was the cause of the user's death is unknown, but according to the lex Maria report, the incident has resulted in serious medical damage.
The employee at the accommodation who gave the overdose has been deprived of the right to give patients medicine.
