Under the directives of Mohamed bin Zayed, the UAE begins hosting Afghan families and providing them with temporary care

In implementation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and within the framework of the global humanitarian initiatives of the United Arab Emirates, the state has started hosting Afghan families, including women and children, in addition to taking all necessary measures to provide the necessary care and support. them in society on a temporary basis in order to provide them with the necessities of a decent life and achieve the noble goals of the United Arab Emirates in the light of a tolerant and united society.

This initiative coincides with the UAE facilitating the provision of support and receiving dozens of flights carrying foreign nationals from Afghanistan, including a number of diplomats, international staff of various nationalities, and NGO workers to the country's airports.

The UAE has also facilitated the evacuation of 39,827 foreigners and Afghans from Afghanistan, using its planes and through its airports.

This initiative also comes within the framework of the humanitarian approach taken by the state with the developments of the situation in Afghanistan, and within its global humanitarian mission on the international arena in general, and in embodiment of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, calling for humanitarian solidarity and solidarity in times of adversity and crises, and His Highness' belief that extending Helping groups and societies that need help under difficult circumstances is an authentic moral obligation to provide humanitarian support for these groups, which is part of the UAE's message and approach at the global level.
