The USA confirms the death of another serviceman in Afghanistan

"I can confirm that following General Mackenzie's statement, the 13th US soldier died of his wounds in the attack at Abby's Gate," said US Central Command spokesman Captain Bill Urban.

The Pentagon previously reported the deaths of 12 American servicemen as a result of explosions in the Afghan capital.
