An explosion sounded on Thursday near the airport in Kabul, Afghanistan, the Pentagon announced on its Twitter account.
On Twitter, the Pentagon said it was not yet able to give details of the victims:
“The number of victims is not clear at the moment.
We will provide further details as soon as we can, ”Pentagon spokesman John Kirby said on Twitter.
