After the first case of the new delta variant in Västmanland: "We conduct active infection tracking"

The additional mutation of the new delta variant was first detected in Sweden in Uppsala County last week.

- And it is a person who originally got it in Portugal and it has since spread to Västmanland, says Jan Smedjegård, Infection Control Doctor at Region Västmanland.

According to the infection control doctor, the people of Västmanland do not need to worry.
