Unemployment insurance reform, end of "whatever it costs" announced Wednesday by Bruno Le Maire, recovery plan: Emmanuel Macron "fattens pensioners like a banker", declared Thursday the candidate for the primary of environmentalists Eric Piolle at AFP.

The mayor of Grenoble regretted that the strategy of the President of the Republic "lacks vision" to revive the economy.

Worse, in his eyes "Emmanuel Macron manages the economy like a banker. He created precariousness with the reform of unemployment insurance (which will come into force on October 1, Editor's note), that of labor law".

Eric Piolle took the example of the contribution on the added value of companies (CVAE), of which "the fall of two thirds will benefit only 3% of companies", according to him.

The president "fattens the rentiers like a banker," he asserted.

He also ridiculed a stimulus plan which "redirects extremely little" towards a green economy, hence the "need for an environmentalist president".

The Grenoble councilor defended a "clear course" in the economy that would be of service to companies "who could know where they would go", and a "fairer distribution of added value".
