It was thus at 3 pm on Monday, 23 August, that a woman was suddenly assaulted and severely beaten when she walked from Grindparkeringen by Delsjön and had reached almost a hundred meters up on Södra Sjöslingan.
The woman lost consciousness during the beating.

Looking for witnesses
The police are now looking for people who were in the area in connection with the incident.
Everyone who was in the area between 15.15 and 16 is invited to contact.
The assaulted woman is in her 35s, has brown hair and was wearing a beige t-shirt and black shorts at the time.
The police are particularly keen to get in touch with two teenage girls and a woman with a small dog on an orange leash.
These must have met the woman on the promenade just before the attack.
