The country has witnessed a gradual decrease in people infected with the emerging coronavirus (Covid-19), during the past days, as it recorded, yesterday, 983 new cases of the virus.

The Ministry also announced the recovery of 1,583 new cases of people infected with the “Corona” virus, and its full recovery from the symptoms of the disease after receiving the necessary health care since entering the hospital, bringing the total number of recovery cases to 694,843 cases.

The Ministry also announced that 66,210 doses of the “Covid-19” vaccine had been provided during the past 24 hours, bringing the total doses that had been provided, until yesterday, to 17,859,066 doses, and the rate of vaccine distribution was 180.57 doses per 100 people.

This comes in line with the Ministry's plan to provide a "Covid-19" vaccine, and in an effort to reach the acquired immunity resulting from vaccination, which will help reduce the number of cases and control the "Covid-19" virus.

In addition, the Abu Dhabi Center for Public Health announced that a team of researchers at the Center and the United Arab Emirates University has studied documenting the Emirates experience in the program of mass examinations for the “Covid-19” virus, with the aim of effectively controlling the spread of infection and the death resulting from it. The study aimed to evaluate the mentioned program. applied in all parts of the country, and the general effect it had on containing the spread of the disease.
