The Sultanate of Oman cancels the quarantine of immunized people coming to its territory

The Sultanate of Oman decided to cancel quarantine restrictions on arrivals from all ports, starting from the first of next September, according to an official statement by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Sultanate of Oman.

And the authority said in a statement yesterday: “All arrivals to the Sultanate who present a PCR examination certificate for (Covid-19), including a verification code with a negative result that proves that the traveler is free of disease, issued by an approved medical laboratory, shall be exempted from quarantine, provided that the period between the procedure does not exceed The examination and the scheduled time to reach the Sultanate is 96 hours for trips of more than 8 hours, including stopovers at other airports, and 72 hours for trips of less than 8 hours.

The statement of the Civil Aviation Authority confirmed that the list of countries from which arrivals are prohibited from entering the territory of the Sultanate has been terminated.

The statement stated that all Omani citizens, residents, holders of entry visas and all those whose travel to the Sultanate does not require obtaining an entry visa, are allowed to enter the Sultanate, as well as those who can obtain a visa upon arrival according to the previously established system.
