Helena Andersson was 22 years old when she disappeared in connection with a night out on the night of June 14, 1992. The next day, her sandals and two rings were found near the parents' home.

But her body has never been found.

However, the case has been investigated as a suspected murder and on Monday a man, who is now in his 60s, was arrested on reasonable suspicion of murder.

Several people have been suspects over the years, but after the police's cold case group went through the case again, the suspicions fell on the now arrested man.

The man was in his 30s at the time of the murder and lived in Mariestad.

According to P4 Skaraborg, he has been involved in the investigation before, but not as a suspect.
