“Secretary of State Anthony Blinken spoke with Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu to discuss our ongoing cooperation in Afghanistan and our efforts to ensure the safe and orderly evacuation of our citizens, allies and partners,” the statement said.
Earlier, British Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab and Blinken held telephone talks, during which they discussed the situation in Afghanistan.
