is the one that processed the most fines in the city of Madrid in the first quarter of the year, with 24,374 notifications registered, worth 2.34 million euros, according to Automovilistas Europeos Asociados (AEA) .

During the first quarter of this year, the radars of the Madrid Municipal Police made

135,692 complaints

, for an economic value of 14,711,000 euros.

This represents an increase of 3.5% with respect to the number of speed reports issued in the same period of 2020 (131,049) and a turnover for fines of about 1,680 euros per hour, reports Europa Press.

According to AEA, the

M-30

continues to be the road that accounts for the highest number of speed violations, with 88,512 complaints, representing 65.2% of the total.

However, it is the section radar located on the A-5 near Batán that has made the largest number of complaints.

The report indicates that speeding is more frequent in the exit section (12,761) than in the entrance to Madrid (11,613).

In the vast majority of cases - 95% - it is a matter of minimum speeding of just 10% over the established limit, which are sanctioned with

fines of 100 euros
