9 regions of Spain issued warnings for abnormal weather
According to the forecast of the Spanish National Meteorological Agency on August 23, local time, a total of 9 regions of the country issued abnormal weather warnings such as high temperature, rainfall and strong wind that day, of which 8 regions issued yellow warnings of abnormal weather.
The Capital Region of Madrid issued a yellow warning for high temperature, and the maximum temperature in the urban area could reach 36 degrees Celsius.
At the same time, the Extremadura region issued a high-temperature orange warning, with the highest temperature in the region reaching 40 degrees Celsius.
The Andalusia region issued a yellow warning for high temperature. The highest temperature in many provinces is expected to be 39 degrees Celsius, and it may reach 40 degrees Celsius in some periods.
In addition, the Teruel Province of Aragon Region issued a yellow warning of heavy rainfall, and extreme weather such as torrential rain, hail and strong winds is expected in the province.
The Catalonia region issued yellow warnings of heavy rainfall in Barcelona, Girona and other provinces.
