One day in 1999, the teenage girl Malin begins her new job as a blackjack dealer at a touring casino.

Work shifts are long and tedious.

Sometimes no customers come to play.

To pass the time, Malin starts playing on the casino's slot machines.

It will be the beginning of a 22-year gambling addiction that is still going on today.

- Alcoholism had been heard of, but I had never thought that you could get caught up in games.

It was so strange, says Malin Frihd.

Did not want to live

Over the years, Malin has had several game breaks, some of which have lasted for several years.

But as soon as there is unrest around her, she risks getting caught up in the addiction again.

Right now she's just recovered from a relapse.

- The worst was in 2011. I just felt anxiety and felt nothing for my children, or for my husband.

I was completely turned off and felt that if it should be like this, then I do not want to live.

I do not want to die either, but I do not want to live, says Malin Frihd.

In the video, Malin talks about the worst time as a gambling addict.
