Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, said Qatar is making every effort to push the Taliban to act as part of Afghan society.

The Qatari foreign minister made it clear in an interview with the American network "CNN" (CNN) that it is not possible to predict what the movement's reaction will be until they return with a clear answer.

He added that there is a need to engage and agree on a peaceful solution, some form of power-sharing, protection of minorities and basic human rights, especially women's rights and their right to education.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani explained that this is what Qatar supports, and otherwise neither Qatar nor the international community will be able to help, and he said that no one wants to see Afghanistan as a model for a country that lives in bygone centuries.
