Prior to that, the policy was issued only under the condition of a state technical inspection in relation to the vehicle.

From August 22, in order to obtain MTPL, technical inspection will be optional, but this does not relieve car owners from having to go through it.

From March 22, 2022, a fine of 2 thousand rubles is expected for the lack of technical inspection.
