Iss: infections growing in over 40s, slow down between 10-29 years
In the last week, although the figure is not yet consolidated, there has been a "slowdown in the growth of Covid cases in the 10-29 age group, while cases continue to grow in all age groups over 40". In particular, it is noted that "the incidence in the 50-59 range for the first time since the beginning of May is greater than 50 cases per 100,000 inhabitants". Hence a slow increase in the hospitalization rate as well.
This was noted by the Higher Institute of Health
in the extended weekly monitoring document today on the Epicentro website. Then the median age of the subjects who contracted the infection increases (32 years).
