According to the police, between 300 and 500 people demonstrated for safe escape routes and a direct admission of people from Afghanistan by Germany on Saturday at Frankfurt's Paulsplatz and at the Hauptwache under the motto “Get the people out”.

The protest was organized by the Seebrücke organization.

The alliance demanded the direct admission of Afghans seeking protection by the federal states and municipalities in Germany. After the Taliban captured the capital Kabul, everyone there who campaigned for a peaceful and democratic Afghanistan was in acute danger of death. In addition, the pier asked the city of Frankfurt to promise to take in people beyond the distribution quota.
