Three people died in an accident in Karachay-Cherkessia

As Interfax reports with reference to the press service of the department, the accident occurred on the 249th km of the Maikop-Zelenchukskaya highway.

It is noted that the driver of the Kia Rio exceeded the speed limit and drove into the oncoming lane, where he collided with the UAZ Patriot.

As a result of the incident, the driver and passenger of the Kia Rio died on the spot.

The other five victims were taken to the hospital - three people from a UAZ "Patriot" car and two underage passengers Kia Rio, one of whom later died in the hospital.

In July, it became known that in Karachay-Cherkessia, as a result of a collapse of a bridge slab, a car fell into the Kuban River, the driver died.
