Earlier, the newspaper El País reported that the Spanish Foreign Ministry did not allow two Russian ships to enter the port of Ceuta.
According to the newspaper, the ship "Vice-Admiral Kulakov" and the rescue ship "Altai" were not allowed to enter the Spanish port due to the fact that the Spanish Foreign Ministry did not receive information from the Russian military regarding their next destination.
The newspaper also did not rule out the "political nature" of the decision in light of the fact that Madrid is hosting a summit of NATO Heads of State and Government in the spring of 2022.
