Most people know Tesla for its elegant and luxurious electric cars and CEO Elon Musk, but some may not know that electric cars are equipped with a large number of features that you will not find in any other car.

Here are 12 weird features that put a Tesla in a class of its own:

1. Autopilot

Tesla's website says the latest models have "8 external cameras, 12 ultrasonic sensors and a powerful onboard computer that provides an extra layer of safety, but all of these equipment that's supposed to provide safety for drivers when the autopilot is used is not a necessity."
