Torbjörn Tegnhammar writes during Friday night in a post on Facebook that:
"Tonight I have informed the municipal council group in Malmö, as well as the Moderates' party leadership, that out of concern for my family and the party, I choose to resign immediately.
I will not comment further at this time.
I will return eventually with my story. ”
