Yesterday, the Ministry of Health and Community Protection recorded 1,070 new cases of the emerging coronavirus (Covid-19), the death of two cases, due to the repercussions of infection with the virus, and the recovery of 1,619 new cases of people infected with Corona.

In detail, the ministry stated that, in line with the plan to expand and increase the scope of examinations in the country, with the aim of early detection, counting cases infected with the emerging coronavirus (Covid-19), and those in contact with them and isolating them, 311,295 new examinations were conducted during the past 24 hours, on different categories. In the community, using the best and latest medical examination techniques.

She added that the intensification of investigation and examination procedures, and the expansion of the scope of examinations at the state level, contributed to the detection of 1,070 new cases of the emerging coronavirus of different nationalities, all of which are stable cases, and are subject to the necessary health care, bringing the total registered cases to 707,236 cases.

The Ministry announced the death of two infected cases from the repercussions of infection with the emerging coronavirus, bringing the number of deaths in the country to 2014.

And she revealed the recovery of 1,619 new cases of people infected with the emerging coronavirus (Covid-19), and her full recovery from the symptoms of the disease, after receiving the necessary health care since entering the hospital, bringing the total number of recovery cases to 687,644 cases.

The Ministry called on members of society to cooperate with health authorities, adhere to instructions, and adhere to social distancing to ensure the health and safety of all.

On the other hand, the Ministry of Health and Community Protection announced that 56,131 doses of the “Covid-19” vaccine were provided during the past 24 hours, bringing the total doses that were provided until yesterday, 17,622,541 doses, and the rate of vaccine distribution is 178.18 doses per 100 people.

The Ministry confirmed that this comes in line with its plan to provide a “Covid-19” vaccine, and in an effort to reach the acquired immunity resulting from vaccination, which will help reduce the number of cases and control the “Covid-19” virus.
