Dubai Civil Defense rescues people trapped in a hotel fire in Raqqa

Dubai Civil Defense teams have controlled a fire that broke out in a hotel in the Al-Raqqa area, according to the spokesman for the department, who indicated that the Dubai Civil Defense Operations Room received a report today at 11:55, of a fire incident in the Gulf Plaza Hotel in the Al-Raqqa area.

He added that the Port Said Fire and Rescue Center immediately acted as a competent authority and a first responder, and upon arrival at 12:02 it was found that the accident was in a warehouse on the third floor of the hotel.


At exactly 13:36, the field commander of the accident announced that the fire was under control, and the specialized teams began cooling operations at 14:21, before transferring the building to the competent authorities to conduct the necessary investigations, and there were no injuries or deaths.
