"Today, thanks to the well-coordinated work of the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Emergencies, the Kronotsky Reserve, the bodies of all those killed in the helicopter crash on the Kuril Lake were raised," Solodov wrote in Telegram.

He noted that now the rescuers are faced with the task of lifting the helicopter's body.

According to the governor, "this is necessary for conducting investigative actions, as well as in order to avoid possible negative consequences for the environment."

On August 12, a Mi-8 helicopter, on board of which there were 16 people, fell into the Kuril Lake in Kamchatka.

Eight of them were saved.

Investigators opened a criminal case on the fact of the incident. 

The helicopter was found at the bottom of the lake at a depth of 110 m.
