As of mid-August, 23 provinces across the country and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps have issued implementation documents for the full implementation of the forest head system at the provincial level, and deployed the full implementation of the forest head system.

　　According to reports, among the 23 provinces that have issued provincial-level implementation opinions, all the chief responsible comrades of the party committee and the government are the chief forest chiefs, and all localities have established deputy chief forest chiefs, who are appointed by the responsible comrades at the provincial level, and are responsible for the division of divisions.

Among them, the 7 provinces of Anhui, Jiangxi, Hainan, Shandong, Shanxi, Xinjiang, and Chongqing have fully completed the establishment of forest heads at all levels.

All localities pay attention to source management and grassroots construction, divide the grid units of forest resource responsibility areas, integrate and form a team of ecological forest rangers, and build a full coverage and gridded forest resource source management system.

Eleven provinces, including Anhui, Jiangxi, and Shandong, have issued various systems such as forest chiefs meeting, information disclosure, departmental collaboration, and work supervision.

Various localities have introduced innovative systems such as "Forest Chief +", "Forest District Sheriff System" and "Private Forest Chief" according to local conditions to form a joint force for the protection and development of forest and grass resources.

Anhui, Beijing, Hebei, Guizhou and other provinces have issued documents on the establishment of the "Lin Chief + Prosecutor General" coordination mechanism.

In May, the "Regulations on the System of Forest Chiefs in Anhui Province" were promulgated, which stipulated the forest chiefs' organization system, work orientation, work system and support guarantees. It is the first provincial forest chief system in my country.

Jiangxi strives to incorporate the Jiangxi Provincial Forest Chief System Work Regulations into the 2021 legislative plan.
