The region: "We have started planning for a third dose"

- It is only at a nursing home in Linköping and one in Söderköping that we know that people have been infected.

Both staff and residents have been infected

Of those affected, there are both staff and care recipients - even though they have been fully vaccinated before.

- Some of the infected have developed significant symptoms and one person is now receiving hospital care, says infection control doctor Jens Raffelsberger to P4 Östergötland.

A third dose

The Östergötland region has now begun planning and preparing for a third vaccination effort.
