Is the Taliban government able to control the situation in the country, which has deteriorated after the split that occurred during the 20 years of the US-NATO occupation?

- I think that the answer to this question is really obvious for the whole world.

The whole world sees that the entire territory of Afghanistan is under the control of the "Islamic Emirate". The "Islamic Emirate" together with the people waged a sacred struggle against the occupation for the creation of an independent Islamic regime. They said different things in the past years: they said that there are twenty different groups, they said that there might be more or less of them. But when the Islamic Emirate announced a cease-fire a few years ago, not a single shot was fired, and then the Islamic Emirate struck an agreement with the United States.

In this regard, there were many predictions, rumors and speculations in the media. There were reports of different parties, of different groups in conflict with each other over this agreement. But after the announcement of this agreement, no one broke this agreement. Then they began joining the ranks of the Mujahideen, and the invaders announced their departure. The whole world has witnessed that these large vilayats (administrative-territorial units. -

RT

), at first there were thirty-three, then thirty-four, began to join the mujahideen one after another day after day. And where are these parties, and where are these groups.

- How can you explain the confusion that is observed in the ranks of the American forces and those who work with them? Can we assume that the United States has developed a plan for the withdrawal of troops, which, by the way, is, according to the military, even more complicated than the offensive plan? But what we saw is chaos. Confusion, pictures reminiscent of the departure of the Americans from Saigon to Vietnam. What is the reason, in your opinion? Was this confusion and chaos to some extent the result of the influence of the Taliban power, or did they fail to calculate the options? What do you think?

- You know that the head of the American administration, Joe Biden, made statements in which it was said that these events also led him to confusion.

As you said, the withdrawal of troops had to be carried out in a strictly organized manner.

After signing the agreement, we told them that the withdrawal of troops should take place in an orderly manner according to a certain agreed schedule.

We told them about this at every meeting.

And even when they postponed the withdrawal of troops for four months or even longer, we told them that the withdrawal of troops should take place in a certain order.

I don't know why there is this chaos and confusion and tension, why these events took place at the Kabul airport, these scenes that cause pain for all Afghans, this fear among people trying to leave their country.

- This is what we want to understand.

There are said to be about 70,000 Afghans who collaborated with the occupying forces.

What is their fate?

Are they safe in their homes and will continue to live normally, or are they in danger?

- They are not in any danger, because they are in their homeland, in their homes among their people.

We strive to make the future of the people and the country worthy.

We have no desire to take revenge on these people.

We strive to ensure that our people are united.

Despite all the challenges, we want to build a new country and make our people live in a dignified future.

We no longer want people to live like in the past.

It's finished.

These people don't have any problems.

We have issued a number of decrees, including a decree concerning those translators who collaborated with the occupation regime for one reason or another.

The past is the past.

Now they have no problem.

- Do you know the fate of former Afghan President Ashraf Ghani and where is he now?

Nobody knows how he left and where he went?

What is his destiny?

Do you know anything?

- We do not have exact data on this issue.

We don't know where he went.

We only heard that he left the country.

We have no exact data.

- You are now coordinating with Hamid Karzai (former President of Afghanistan. -

RT

) and Abdullah Abdullah (ex-Foreign Minister) and Gulbeddin Hekmatyar (former Prime Minister).

Will these people be in the future power structure?

Will Afghanistan actually be called the Islamic Emirate in Afghanistan?

- These issues should be discussed in negotiations between the two sides in Doha, including the name of the country. Who will be the president of the country or the leader of the country. What the government will be like. And all this in the light of the recent events in the wilayats, and unexpected changes in the situation in the country, which caused confusion among many. The situation now is not the same as before. The fate of the people will be decided as soon as possible. There is now a power vacuum in Kabul. We will contact everyone who has their own opinion and vision, and decide what form the new government should have, taking into account the rapidly changing situation. We will make decisions in this rapidly changing environment.

- Muhammad Naim, how do you view the role of Russia in recent events.

Russia seems to be the only country that has retained its embassy in Kabul so far.

Is the Russian embassy working, and nobody left it?

How do you assess the position of Russia and your relations with Russia?

- We have good relations with Russia and long-standing contacts.

Meetings have been held in Moscow several times.

We value Russia's neutral position on Afghanistan.

Russia does not interfere in the internal affairs of Afghanistan and this is a positive position.

We hope that in the future our relationship will expand and strengthen.

Russia is a great power and our close neighbor.

Russia has a positive role to play, and we look to Russia for help to the Afghan people who have suffered from multiple destructive wars.

- Is it true that there are purges and murders of people from Ghani's supporters who collaborated with the occupation authorities?

- If this were true, then we would not be recognized by major leaders in Kabul who joined us, such as Ismail Khan (leader of the Afghan Islamists -

RT

), like Hakim in Kandahar and others in many wilayats.

We treat people well, brotherly, humanly.

And all these conversations are just rumors and speculation.

In the world, in any state there are problems and incidents ... We have announced amnesty to everyone, and not only to those who did not fight with weapons in their hands or for some individuals.

- Will there be elections of representatives to parliament or jirga (All-Afghan Council of Elders. -

RT

) in Afghanistan according to a scheme acceptable to Afghans?

- This is a matter of the future.

Now the situation is different.

In the future, all this will be studied and discussed.

We will discuss this issue and decide who is worthy to represent the Afghan people and what is best for Afghanistan.

All of this will be discussed in the future.
