Ishchenko stressed that at the moment nothing threatens the life of the employees of the Russian diplomatic mission.

"The Taliban guarantee the security of the diplomatic mission, including ours, and the embassy continues to work as usual," the diplomat added.

Earlier, Russian Ambassador to Afghanistan Dmitry Zhirnov said that the Russian diplomatic mission in Kabul had taken measures to strengthen security.
