Matin came to Sweden in 2015 and today lives in Sollefteå where he works as a leisure educator.
Nikbakht, a trained graphic designer, lives in an apartment in Kabul.
They met via social media, and a couple of years later Metin went to Afghanistan where they met and got married.
Since then, they have lived in each country and only once more on a holiday trip in Iran.
They are heard several times every day.
- When he talks to me, he expresses his concern about the situation.
We both have a hard time sleeping because of it and we are constantly worried that the Taliban will take over Kabul soon, says Nikbakht.
