Paris SG celebrated the return of its supporters to the stands with a victory against Strasbourg (4-2) on Saturday for the second day of Ligue 1, taking the lead in the standings after an evening marked by the presentation of its recruits summer, Lionel Messi in the lead.
Despite a scare in the second half when they were leading 3-0, the Parisians retained their advantage, becoming the first L1 team to string together two successes.
The six-time Ballon d'Or Messi received the public ovation before kick-off, in a Parc des Princes in full gauge for the first time in nearly 17 months.
