The meteor shower The Perseids were most active in the middle of last week. Also next week there are good chances to catch a star fall. SVT followed with Varf, Västerås astronomy and space research association, up on the hill at the ancient tomb monument in Anundshög.
- Starfall is the result of small gravel particles that hit the atmosphere at very high speeds.
So fast that they burn with friction, shine and leave traces behind, says Jim Gage, chairman of Varf.
