Naval Ordinary Military Court today issued an arrest warrant for Sergeant C belonging to the 2nd Fleet on charges of forcible molestation such as soldiers.

Sergeant C is accused of inappropriate physical contact with his successor Sergeant B at a private restaurant near the unit on May 27th.

Immediately after the issuance of the warrant, Sergeant C was arrested and imprisoned in the fleet untrial detention room.

It has been 5 days since the military started an official investigation due to the report of Sergeant B, who was found dead yesterday, and 79 days after the sexual harassment incident occurred.

The Ministry of National Defense's special investigation team plans to intensively investigate allegations of secondary assault against the arrested Sergeant C.

This is because there are circumstances that Sergeant B has been working in the same unit as the perpetrator for more than 70 days after the sexual assault and suffered secondary assault.

Earlier, the bereaved family said that Sergeant C called for Sergeant B to apologize immediately after the sexual harassment and forced him to serve alcohol.

He also claimed that he even threatened him by mentioning his personnel appraisal.

An investigation is also expected to be conducted on the head of the department who received a report from Sergeant B immediately after the sexual harassment incident.

It is known that the head boss called the assailant at the time and warned him to be careful, because there is a possibility that a second offense may have occurred as a result of this.

The special forces also plan to investigate the situation of Sergeant B in the newly transferred unit, given that they made an extreme choice three days after moving the unit.
