Since June of this year, Sichuan Province has implemented a pilot program of "cross-provincial administration" of marriage registration and divorce registration for inland residents.

Therefore, as long as one of the prospective newcomers is a mainland resident holding a Chengdu residence permit (or a Chengdu household registration), they can obtain the permit in Chengdu.

  Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, decided to open some marriage registration windows to handle business.
