A part of the ordinary allocation tax scheduled to be delivered next month will be delivered to the three municipalities in Aomori prefecture that were damaged by the heavy rain from the 9th to the 10th of this month.

The ordinary allocation tax is issued by the national government four times a year to make up for the lack of financial resources of local governments, and in the event of a major disaster, it can be issued earlier.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications will issue it to three municipalities in Aomori Prefecture, Mutsu City, Shichinohe Town, and Kazamaura Village, which were damaged by the heavy rain caused by the extratropical cyclone that changed from Typhoon No. 9, from the 9th to the 10th of this month. We have decided to issue a total of 1,075 million yen, which is a part of the ordinary allocation tax that we plan to do, on the 16th next week.

The amount of grant is 718 million yen for Mutsu City, 259 million yen for Shichinohe Town, and 98 million yen for Kazamaura Village.
