Ponte Morandi, the prosecutor of Genoa closes the investigation into the collapse

August 13, 2021The three torchlight processions in memory of the victims of the Morandi bridge collapse started at 9.30 pm, one from each neighborhood most affected by the collapse, Sampierdarena, Cornigliano and Certosa.
Here, together with over a hundred people, including Egle Possetti, president of the Remembrance Committee of the Morandi bridge victims and a delegation from the association of displaced persons, as well as some citizens.
Also present were the deputy mayor Massimo Nicoló and the president of the Valpolcevera municipality Federico Romeo. The three processions will arrive under the new viaduct and then at the so-called Ponte delle Ratelle, a pedestrian walkway which from this evening is named after the 43 victims of the tragedy. The impression is that compared to last year, when an initiative was organized in the same way but on the evening of the 14th, the number of participants is lower.
