  At the handover ceremony, Del Kerr reviewed the Chinese peacekeeping troops to Lebanon, took over the United Nations flag from Du Jia, the commander of the 19th Chinese peacekeeping troops to Lebanon, and solemnly handed it to Ye Fangchao, the commander of the 20th peacekeeping troops to Lebanon. The two groups of peacekeeping troops to Lebanon formally completed the rotation and handover.

  Since the 19th batch of Chinese peacekeeping troops to Lebanon formally took up their duties in August 2020, they have completed high-standard tasks such as post-disaster assistance for the Beirut port explosion, demining and detonation, engineering and construction, medical assistance, and humanitarian assistance.
