Algeria witnessed shocking incidents that accompanied the forest fires in the state of Tizi Ouzou, where civil protection services found two dead sisters embracing their mother to escape the fires that broke out in the village of (Ikhlijen) in the state.
According to the Algerian newspaper, An-Nahar, “the two young women, Sarah and Jawhar, were found charred and clinging to the body of their mother, who died of suffocation as a result of inhaling smoke from the fires.

In connection with the fires, a young man was set on fire in the state of Tizi Ouzou on suspicion of being involved in setting fire to the state's forests.
According to the information, a video was taken in the city of Nat Irathan, one of the areas affected by the fires that broke out in the state of Tizi Ouzou, where the young man was arrested by a group of citizens who insisted on his liquidation, so that the policemen intervened and took him from them to take him to investigation, but the angry youths returned and pulled him from the police car They killed him, burned his body, and filmed it.
A number of social media pioneers in Algeria circulated the video widely and said that it belonged to a young man who had burned the forests, but the victim's friends said that the young man went to volunteer to put out the fires.
A group of young people stated that the victim is an artist and hails from the Khemis Miliana region, and he collected money yesterday in order to go to Tizi Ouzou to volunteer and contribute to extinguishing the fires.
The incident of killing the young man and setting his body on fire caused shock and uproar on all social media, after it became clear that he was innocent, and that he was on the spot to provide assistance.
Citizens demanded the custodian authorities to open an investigation into the incident and to apply the law to those responsible for burning the young man.
The General Directorate of National Security did not issue any clarification regarding the incident of burning the young man and the identity of the perpetrators.
On the other hand, a person who was described by local media as "mentally disturbed", "slaughtered" a woman in a public street in a suburb of Algiers, before fleeing, leaving her to bleed to death.
An-Nahar newspaper said that the crime took place in the 13-hectare neighborhood of Baraki municipality in Algiers, during the killer's attempt to steal the victim's bag.
The newspaper explained that the crime occurred when the perpetrator attacked the woman who was leaving her house in the morning, trying to steal her handbag, but instead he "slaughtered her from vein to vein and left her on the street covered in her blood."
The perpetrator, who lives in the same neighborhood, is still hiding, while the gendarmerie forces are investigating the crime and are tracking him down to arrest him.
