Andreas and Jonas were at the Värmland Opera for a job when they heard the bang.
About a month ago, they had bought the fire extinguishers for the car, which now came in handy.
- Jonas started the extinguishing, then the rescue service came within a couple of minutes and took over, Andreas says.
Three units from the rescue service were called.
No one was injured during the incident.
Started suddenly
- There had been no problems with the car throughout the day.
But when I then started it again, it became a total stop after 100 meters.
We tried over and over and over again and all of a sudden it started to burn, says Kamal, the driver of the car.
He is very grateful that the two men intervened.

-Of course you got scared.
There are a lot of people who live around here as well.
The fire must have started in the battery.
