When "Lisa" was hired, she did it as an untrained assistant nurse.

She says that she almost did not receive any training in how things should be handled or how the systems at the accommodation worked.

- My colleagues did not get any help either, so many of us did not know the systems.

Many problems

She says that the lack of education was one of many problems in the accommodation.

Too little food for the residents, poor hygiene, stressful work environment and too little staff for the job to be performed are also shortcomings she experienced.

- I did not feel good working there.

Continues to work in healthcare

After a period at Berggården, "Lisa" stopped, but the traces from the time at the accommodation remain in various ways.

Now she is working in healthcare again.

- I enjoy working with the elderly and want to continue to do so, she says.

Torbjörn Carlbom, communications manager at Norlandia, does not recognize the description of the lack of education and skills at Berggården.

- Our staff is trained.

29 out of 31 have an assistant nurse education, he says.
