“We were asked to assist in the settlement of the Transnistrian problem and the related disposal of ammunition,” Kozak said in a statement to TASS.
He noted that Russia is also interested in the disposal of expired and non-transportable ammunition.
Earlier it was reported that Kozak will visit Moldova on August 11 and hold talks with the Moldovan leadership.
