The increase in the number of hospitalizations due to Covid-19 in France - which crossed the 9,000 patient mark for the first time since June - is not only worrying at the national level: the United States has just recommended to their fellow citizens "to avoid traveling to France".

"If you have to travel to France, make sure you are fully vaccinated before your departure", specifies, in the same message, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC ), the US Health Agency.

By raising France's Covid-19 alert level to level 4 (the maximum), the latter intends to warn of the high level of circulation of the virus.

"Due to the current situation [in the country], even fully vaccinated travelers potentially risk contracting and spreading the Covid-19 variants", finally details the US health agency, which recently placed Israel, Thailand, Iceland or Greece in level 4.
