The Vogue article says that, as a representative of the State Department, Psaki "got into the lens of attention of Russian propaganda, and this experience became a real test for her strength of character."

The article says that RT "launched a whole campaign, the purpose of which was to make Psaki not far off," a list of the so-called best pearls of Psaki was published.

It is also noted that T-shirts with a portrait of Psaki were produced and rumors of her pregnancy were spread, and some of the criticism hit the American media.

“At first I was very upset.

I remember talking about this at the briefing, and even a lump came up to my throat: it feels like someone is being attacked and just leaving no place to live, ”said Psaki.

Psaki said that at some point "experienced journalists dealing with Russia" explained to her that what was happening should be regarded by a representative of the State Department as a "sign of honor."

According to her, journalists told her that this means that what she says "has an impact" and therefore needs to be "publicly discredited in front of a Russian audience."

It is noted that as a result, Psaki realized that in order to “fight disinformation” she needed to “be a“ grown girl ”and“ learn to recognize strategic tasks behind personal attacks ”.

“At the end of my work at the State Department, these skirmishes became fun for me,” said Psaki.

She also said that she "laughed at the rumors about herself and teased RT journalists when they tried to somehow prick her during briefings."

In June 2014, Psaki stated that she "became the target of attacks from Russian propaganda."

She also stated that she had seen personal attacks against herself on the Internet.

Psaki also stated that the US State Department is not going to provide any facts confirming that RT contains propaganda.

The reservations and confusion that Psaki introduced in the discussion of issues of world politics glorified her far beyond the borders of the United States.

She repeatedly avoided answering the direct and complex questions of journalists, and sometimes even refused to answer at all.

The phrase "I need to clarify in the office" has become almost Psaki's calling card.
