Major General Vitaly Krasnov, ”the deputy said.

On August 3, law enforcement agencies detained Mikhail Kiselev, the former head of the Russian Interior Ministry's department for the Kamchatka Territory, in connection with a criminal case of abuse of office.

It is noted that the further fate of Kiselev will be determined by the investigative and judicial authorities.

At the end of July, the Investigative Committee confirmed the initiation of a criminal case on the fact that an organized group led by the head of the UGIBDD of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Stavropol Territory, Police Colonel Alexei Safonov, received a bribe on an especially large scale.

As reported, Safonov and six members of the group headed by him were detained.
