It was on Friday evening, July 30, that a woman in her 25s was shot to death in the Notviken residential area in Luleå.

Witnesses heard several shots being fired in quick succession.

After that, several people must have left the place in different cars.

An investigation is currently underway which, according to Jonas Fjellström, chamber prosecutor in Luleå, is "exceptionally extensive".

The police also make a connection between the act and a larger criminal environment to the south, mainly in Stockholm, according to information to SVT.

- We hold interrogations, go through telephones and the like.

We are also waiting for a technical investigation, says Jonas Fjellström.

When can it be finished?

- It takes time, the queues at NFC (National Forensic Center) are long.
