A "provisional government" by the Myanmar military has issued a statement about the arrest of two Myanmarese in the United States for planning to kill the UN ambassador to Myanmar, which continues to protest the military coup. He denied his involvement and accused the United States of not deporting the ambassador.

On the night of the 9th, Myanmar's state television issued a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the "provisional government" that the Myanmar military had launched.

In this, he denied the involvement of the case, saying, "It is a trouble between people living in the United States and has nothing to do with Myanmar."

He added, "Kyaw Moe Tung has not obeyed orders, betrayed the country, has been charged with treason, and has asked the United States to deport him to Myanmar, but that request has not been met." I blamed the correspondence.

He urged the United Nations and UN member states not to support Ambassador Kyaw Moe Tung, saying, "Support for the person violates the code of conduct of UN member states."
