It started as a disappearance in Vittinge in Heby municipality and then turned into a murder investigation.
Two people, a man and a woman, were arrested but released with the suspicions remaining.
When the police judged that the man could no longer be found alive, they ended the search, but Missing People has continued.
- We were out last Saturday.
He has not been found, but we have been able to exclude areas that we have been interested in.
I wish we had found objects by now, but unfortunately we do not have that, says Lukas Annersten.
The police are silent
The search effort has been focused on the area where the man's car was parked.
- We have had a handrail search this weekend, where we walk along streams and paths as this is where missing people are most often found.
As the latest search effort did not attract many volunteers, the search is now put on hold - to be resumed in September.
- The police, who are very secretive, have told us to continue searching, but they cover such a small area when there are few.
Then it is better to regroup into a larger effort in a few weeks.
